Priorities And Your Team's "Why"

If you are in a leadership role, don’t assume that your priorities, merely stated, magically become everyone else’s priorities.
You must engage in the process of buy in and that involves not only sharing your vision, but listening with an open mind to alternative perspectives and adjusting your priorities if warranted. Your team’s “why” should be as resonantly felt and understood as your motivation.
If you skip this process, you may struggle with engagement, distraction, or worse, undermining apathy.
